What the Bible say about money?

There are more than 2000 verses in the Bible that talks about money and possession. Three times more than love.

It only means that God value money because it does two things – It can steal us from his loving arms or draw us closer to him.

Growing up, my mom always quote 1 Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.”

She literally means money is dirty and rich people are greedy.

But as I grew older, I realized it doesn’t literally means that way. If money is evil what is the reason why I worked hard for money.

How can a church grow without money, love alone cannot pay church bills.

We cannot expand God’s kingdom without money to support the need of a ministry.

Money itself is not evil but the Love of it does.

I believe that loving money above God and your family is the root of all evil because you became greedy.

Money is good in the hands of good and generous people. It is bad in the hand of greedy people.

We use money to fulfill most of our goals and ambition.

Here are some of my collections of Bible Verses about money. And how the Bible talks about money and possession.
